Thanks to a donation from Conrad and Jennifer Bailey we are delighted to open a fourth round of Micro Grants Programme for Professional Folk Artists who live and work in England.
Six grants of £500 each are being offered to folk artists to support anything that will help their professional career development. We are open to receiving applications for support ranging from:
- Time to develop creative projects
- Support for the production of new albums
- Instrument purchase
- Technical equipment purchase (eg portable sound equipment
- Other training and development activities (including courses)
This list is not exhaustive.
We do not fund:
- Under graduate and post graduate university courses (or equivalent)
- The development or delivery of education projects/programmes
We particularly welcome applications from artists underrepresented in folk and traditional arts including but not exclusively artists of colour, artists with disabilities, LGBTQIA+ artists.
Deadline for completed applications Midnight on 31 January 2024
Notification of outcome by 1 March 2024
Bursary projects to be completed by 31 December 2024
