At the heart of English folk
Sweet Liberties

Cecil Sharp House is an award winning venue which has played host to some of the biggest names in folk and popular music including Martin and Eliza Carthy, Davy Graham, Mumford and Sons, Laura Marling, Ed Harcourt, Graham Coxon and Goldfrapp.

The main space, Kennedy Hall, is grand and spacious. Features include art-deco style chandeliers and an eye-catching hand painted mural, spanning the length of the hall, created by Ivon Hitchens. Kennedy Hall is regularly hired by major promoters for large scale gigs featuring traditional folk luminaries as well as artists like Goldfrapp and Sigur Rós.

Trefusis Hall is an intimate, flexible space. With its wall-mounted reindeer antlers, the space provides a unique setting for smaller-scale gigs and album launches.
